Field Collected: Tom Mortimer Catalog No.: 1171 Notes: This is the only schorl crystal that I have field collected that formed in a pegmatite vug. The Keyes Mines are a group of six mined pegmatites. Keyes #1 is the largest and most heavily collected of these. Keyes #4 is a relatively small cut, mostly overgrown, in a deep woods setting. |
