Field Collected: Tom Mortimer Catalog No.: Notes: These epidotes were initially thought to be allanite, but EDS analysis showed them to be simply REE enriched epidote. Similar specimens were obtained by several collectors from thin adularia seams in the gneiss ledge of the Rt. 101 - Rt. 101A road cut.
