Identification method: Visual. Species is reported from this locality. Orange fluorescence under long wave UV is diagnostic. The gray Sodalite can be very difficult to identify in the field without the aid of a UV lamp. It is easily confused with the more abundant gray feldspar that is also present at this locality.
